I lost two women who were dear to me. Arlene, my mother in law, passed in December, and my cousin past in February. I admire both women because each raised families, worked outside the home, and took time to enjoy being creative.
Arlene was a knitter and a sewer. She knitted socks for her 3 boys ( the boys are now men with families) and made prom dresses for her son's dates. Arlene, also crocheted many afghans for family and friends. I have several of her creations.
Maria, who will always be one of my favorite people, is my father's niece. I wrote about her earlier in my blog. I saw pictures of her as a young woman and she was beautiful.
Good bye Arlene and Maria, I will be with you again one day.
Sincerely,
Cindy
